Indian Air Force Airman Recruitment 2022: Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced a notice of Indian Air Force Airman Recruitment for filling up vacant posts. The organization is going to appoint eligible candidates for filling up the various posts of Airman in Group “X” and Group “Y” in the Indian Air Force. The online application process started in the first week of July. It will be open till the second week of July 2022.
IAF Airman Recruitment 2022 Updates
IAF Airman Recruitment process for Group X and Y will start in the 1st week of July (Tentatively). After the release of the official notification, candidates can apply for the same.

Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification
- IAF Group X Recruitment: Intermediate/10+2/ passed or it’s Equivalent from recognized Boards (or) three years Diploma Course in Engineering.
- IAF Group Y Recruitment: {Except Medical Assistant and Musician}: Two-year vocational course or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.
- Group “Y‟ Trade Only: Passed 10+2/Intermediate/ equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
Age Limitation:
The age of the applicant must be between July 2001 and July 2004 – both dates inclusive.

Application Process for IAF Recruitment 2022
- First of all, visit the official site to apply for Indian Air Force Airmen Recruitment.
- After that on the main home page, you need to select ‘ST intake’ in the main tab
- Then you will be redirected to a new tab
- Click on the tab of ‘New user Register’ on the right-hand side.
- Fill details in the Indian Air Force form and you need to register, verify and Use a registered email id to log in.
- Fill Indian Air Force Online form, upload documents, such as scanned images and signature and Make a payment of fee as per the category
- At last hit on submit button
- Don’t forget to take a printout of the Indian Air Force Online Application form for future use.

Indian Air Force Airman Selection Process
- Appointment of eligible and career-oriented candidates to Indian Air Force Job Vacancies will be according to the written Test or Physical Test / Practical / Skill Tests.
- No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the Recruitment Tests.
- All those applicants who will appear for the examination are required to carry a photo ID (Voter Card/ Aadhaar Card/ PAN Card/ Driving Licence/ Passport etc.) in the original.
Indian Air Force Airman 2022 Admit Card
To appear for the Airman Group ‘X’, ‘Y’, and both ‘XY’ recruitment exams applicants need to download hall tickets with you otherwise they will not be allowed to sit in an exam hall.
