This exam for the selection has been scheduled from 12th to 18th July 2021. The information was released for Airmen in Group “X” Trades ( and Group “Y” Trades. Age Limit
Candidates who want to carrier in the airforce x and y group sharing their Date of Birth will be considered for this Recruitment.
If the candidate clears all the stages of the Selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as of the date of enrolment is 21 years.
Physical Fitness Test
This test is the most important phase for the airforce x and y group. There will be a 1.6 Km run to be complete in 06 minutes 30 seconds. Candidates shall also have to complete 10 Push-ups, 10 Sit-ups, and 20 Squats within the stipulated time to qualify in the Physical Fitness Test.
Adaptability Test- 1 (For both Group ‘ X’ & Group ‘Y’ Trades)
In candidates who pass the Physical Fitness Test shall have to undertake Adaptability Test-I (objective type written test). This is to assess the suitability of a candidate for employment in the IAF which involves deployment in varied geographic terrain, weather, and operational conditions.
Adaptability Test- 2 (For both Group ‘ X’ & Group ‘Y’ Trades)
Candidates who pass Adaptability Test – I shall have to undertake the Adaptability Test- II as per policy in vogue. The adaptability Test- II is to select candidates who can adapt to the environment of the Indian Air Force and can adjust to the military way of life.
Medical Fitness Test
The minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cms. Chest minimum range of expansion is 5 cm. Weight Proportionate to height and age. The minimum weight of 55 Kg required for Operations Assistant Trade only. The candidate should have normal hearing that is able to hear. In the distance of 6 meters with each ear separately. Dental Should have healthy gums, a good set of teeth, and a minimum of 14 dental points.
